Character Formatting

Character formatting markups are used to change the format of text.

Syntax

*bold text*
=italic text=
_underlined text_
-strikethrough text- 
^superscript text^
~subscript text~
`colour,background coloured text'

Character formatting markups can be applied together. To use the markup character without the formatting, type it twice (for example, will appear as *).

Examples

- Wiki Text -

=*bold italic text*=

- Formatted Text -

bold italic text

- Wiki Text -

`blue,yellow blue text on a yellow background'

- Formatted Text -

blue text on a yellow background

Details

Character formatting can be applied in most circumstances. Text in tables can be formatted using these markups.
