The lower screen in the ECAM.


The S/D displays status pages, either manually or automatically, as well as permanent data at the bottom of the screen:

  • total air temperature (TAT);
  • static air temperature (SAT);
  • time;
  • gross weight; and
  • gross weight centre of gravity.

If a page is automatically displayed, the light in the ECAM control panel pb is not displayed.


STATUS page

/wiki/wikis/a330/bin/statusecam.jpgCan display limitations, approach procedures (including actions and correction), information, and inoperative systems. It is automatically presented during descent when the baro reference is selected or the slats are extended.
If an overflow arrow is diplayed, further information is displayed by pressing the CLR key. To return to the first page again, press the STS key. The STATUS page appears automatically during descent when the baro reference is selected or the slats are extended. If there are maintenance messages, STS flashes on the E/WD after shutdown.

DOOR/OXY page

Automatically displayed on the ground with the doors open, and after engine shutdown.


APU page

Automatically displayed when the APU is started. Once the APU has started, the previous page (DOOR/OXY when on the ground with doors open) is displayed again.


ENGINE page

Automatically displayed when starting engines, or when takeoff thrust is applied. Replaced by the CRUISE page at 1,500' agl.


WHEEL page

/wiki/wikis/a330/bin/wheelecam.jpgAutomatically displayed after the ENG START selector is set back to NORM after the 2nd engine start to allow monitoring brake temperatures while taxiing, and when the gear is extended in flight below 15,000'. Also shows the spoilers. The on each wheel is an anti skid indication. The R means released and is a label only. The AUTO BRK LO(MED)(MAX) memo only appears below 800'.

F/CTL page

/wiki/wikis/a330/bin/fctlecam.jpgAutomatically displayed as soon as any flight controls are moved on the ground (for the flight control check). Rudder trim is displayed below the rudder scale using a small blue line. Rudder limits are indicated by small green lines.

CRUISE page

/wiki/wikis/a330/bin/cruiseecam.jpgAutomatically displayed once the flaps are fully retracted after takeoff. There is no pb for the cruise page on the ECAM control panel.

BLEED page

The pneumatic system is displayed on the lower part of the display. The upper part is related to air conditioning. The GND indication is only displayed on the ground. ANTI ICE indications are displayed when anti-ice is used. The APU indication is only displayed when the APU is running.


COND page

Displays information from the air conditioning system. The CRUISE page also displays zone temperature indications.


ELEC DC page

ELEC AC page

CAB PRESS page

Displays information on the pressurisation system.


FUEL page

Displays information about the fuel system. Fuel temperature is not indicated for the right outer tank. Amber dashes through the last 2 digits in a fuel quantity indicate a loss of accuracy. When fuel imbalance reaches 1,500 kg, fuel quantity on the lighter side pulses in green.


HYD page

Displays information about the hydraulic system. The white bar on the green system reservoir quantity indication represents 17L of fluid, and turns to two amber bars when quantity is below 17L.
