Aural Warnings

  • voice messages

Cancelled automatically when the condition no longer exists, or when reset manually by the pilot.


The order of priority is:

  1. EGPWS
  2. TCAS
  3. Fire
  4. Overspeed
  5. Landing Gear

Alerts

Emergency alertsLevel 3 alerts, such as serious system failure, requiring immediate action
Abnormal alertsLevel 2 alerts, corresponding to abnormal situations
Advisory alertsLevel 1 alerts, situations where pilot recognition of the condition is required
Information alertsLevel 0 alerts, information situation, for example with the correct takeoff configuration set

Alarms

  • "Autobrake" - the autobrake goes from armed to disarmed or the BCM fails
  • "Autopilot, Autopilot" - AP disconnect
  • "Cabin" - cabin altitude is >9,700'
  • "Caution windshear" - windshear caution
  • "Landing gear" - landing gear not in position for landing
  • "No autoland" - autoland not available
  • "No takeoff, x" - takeoff configuration warning
  • "Takeoff ok" - T/O config button is pressed and takeoff configuration is ok
  • "Throttle" - AT disconnect
  • "Traffic, traffic" - TCAS advisory
  • "Windshear, windshear, windshear" - windshear warning
  • Chime - lavatory smoke detector
  • Fire bell - in case of a fire
  • Single Chime - master caution
  • Triple Chime - master warning
