Rejected Landing

A rejected landing may be carried after touchdown of the landing gear as long as reverse thrust has not been selected. In that case, the MASTER WARNING will illuminate and a repetitive chime will sound. The following ECAMs appear:

  • CONFIG FLAPS NOT IN T.O. CONFIG
  • CONFIG PITCH TRIM NOT IN T.O. RANGE

As long as reverse thrust has not been selected, the rejected landing is an approved maneouvre. Select TOGA and ignore TO CONFIG warning. If the aircraft is on the ground, continue the de-rotation. Rotate at or above Vapp.
