Ignore Markups
You can use this markup to prevent another markup from being formatted.

Details
Some markups can be escaped by typing them twice in succession, however others cannot. Therefore to use those characters, they must be surrounded by the ignore markups markup. This is most common with links that should just be formatted as text, or the column separator character in a table.
