TEAM Briefing


TTrack and track miles to touchdown; an estimate can be quickly established using any of:
- Co-located ILS/DME, on-field VOR/DME.
- FMS PROG Page direct / FMS lateral profile distance to touchdown threshold.
- ND, visual estimate based on selected range / range arcs, aircraft / runway symbols, and expected lateral track.
EEnergy state, e.g. high, low, fast, slow.
AAids:
- ILS/DME (PFD) and any on-field DME should be tuned and displayed.
- FMS
MMissed approach. Brief the initial lateral path and missed approach altitude, e.g. "I’ll join mid downwind, about 20 miles to run, 1,000ft high. If required, I’ll fly the ILS MAP procedure, initially straight-ahead to 3 DME with 3,000ft set in the FCU/MCP."
