Pneumatic Leak Detection


There are dual leak detection loops in the wings, and single loops for the engine pylons and the APU. For the dual loop system, each loop is controlled by a different BMC, and leaks must be detected in both loops (unless a BMC has failed). APU leak detection is done only by BMC 1.


APU leaks are ignored during engine start.
