Autopilot
The autopilot controls pitch and roll. Failure of the yaw damper does not affect autopilot engagement.
2 channels, with 1 channel acting as a hot spare channel. Swapping channels is an automatic function, although can be done manually on the MCDU.

Disengagement
- A set force on the control column
- Manual trim switch activation
- Stall warning and protection system activated
- FBW system switched to direct mode
