FCM

Flight control modules

Provides software assistance to the P-ACE via the CAN and interfaces with the rest of the aircraft avionics system through the ASCB. They are required for normal mode operation. 4 identical FCMs are installed. FCM 1 and 2 are in MAU 1, FCM 3 and 4 are in MAU 3.

Other systems that interface with the FCMs via the ASCB are: ADA (airspeed augmentation), IRS (attitude and acceleration), PSEM (WOW, ground spoiler position), BCM (wheel speed), FADEC (TLA), AFCS (autopilot commands), EICAS (status), and CMC (diagnostics).
