Flameout

The FADEC activates the igniters when there is a flameout inflight or on the ground. A FAIL amber annunciation appears on the MFD over the N1, and a WML annunciation over the N2 indicates an auto-relight is in progress. The ignition remains on for 5s after the flameout detection has been cleared.

If the engine relight does not occur within 30s, or N2 falls below 7.2%, the start is unsuccessful and the start/stop selector must be moved to STOP. On the ground, auto-relight attempts are terminated and the fuel is shut off below 52% N2.
